Delaney is entering her fourth year of coaching volleyball, in which she has done club, beach, and private lessons. She has also coached at her Alma mater Putnam City North, as well as a season at Casady for both middle and high school girls.

During her volleyball career, she won OKRVA beach regionals twice, placed 9th at AVP juniors nationals, won Homeland Scholar Athlete of the Week, and defensive MVP at her high school.

Delaney can typically be described as a passionate coach who absolutely loves to share her love of the game with her players!

Delaney received her B.A. Psychology in 2024 at the University of Oklahoma, where she was nominated psychology student of the year. Thus, helping players with the mental side of the game is a component of her coaching praxis– she strives to lead players with a positive and encouraging attitude to leave them feeling more capable in themselves, as well as more resilient.

Delaney's coaching is very detail-oriented, especially with passing mechanics. She prioritizes telling players what to do, instead of solely what not to do. Additionally, she likes to use her sand volleyball background to help indoor players view the game in a more creative light (e.g. helping hitters expand their range of shots, helping setters learn several different kinds of dumps/over on twos they can use, etc.).

She strives to meet players exactly where they are at, whether they are just starting, or very advanced-- all levels are welcome!
